Our Story

Valley Kids Collective is here to give Australian families an ethical and affordable way to dress their littlest loves in quality, sustainable and stylish clothing. I'm Ash, the founder of Valley Kids Collective and a Mumma of two small children under 3 years of age. I know just how quickly kids' clothes are outgrown before they wear them out or even have a chance to take the tag off. All items at Valley Kids Collective are carefully sourced to ensure that they are of the utmost quality before being loved again. When you purchase from Valley Kids Collective, you're not only supporting a small business, but you're also decreasing our environmental footprint and ensuring that our future generations have an Earth to inherit.

Our Mission

Did you know that the average Australian discards 23kg of clothing and textiles into landfill each year? A lot of the textile waste from these households are clothes that haven't lived their full potential. With ethics and sustainability in mind, our mission is to help prevent this cycle and make a positive impact by reducing our environmental footprint.

Before our items find their new homes we ensure that they are laundered using natural and sustainable washing detergent. That is why we have chosen to use The Dirt Company whose ingredients are the healthy choice for your clothes, your home and the planet.

All of our packing is able to be recycled .

We want everyone to have an opportunity to dress their littlest loves in high-quality, sustainable brands. We choose to source brands according to strict criteria:

They must be Australian or New Zealand-owned.
They must be sustainable. Their fabrics must either be sustainably sourced, recycled, or upcycled.
They must be ethical. They must manufacture their items within Australia or source regulated and ethical manufacturing overseas.
